I haven't had time to scan the cassette shells yet, but the sleeves are ready...
I'll add notes about each cassette issue later on, but for now I just want to get them uploaded..
So Here they are (in no particular order)
After Leaving Polydor, he ended up on ABC.. heres a first issue of his (i believe) 1977 album
These are very early AMPEX issues, before London USA made their own cassettes , in 1969, most record companies subbed to AMPEX, or GRT, for the actual manufacture of their tapes
A couple of very difficult to obtain Mayall cassettes here.. as they were not big sellers...
Several compilations.. this next one is the same as the "Pop History 14" with the green cover.. it appears that Germany has to always have special issues of any album reissues.. in fact there's some incredible releases only ever available from Germany..
Primal Solos is a UK issue of some rough tracks covering the time between the "Bluesbreakers with Eric Clapton> album, and Peter Greens entry.. also some Mick Taylor stuff
Here's another UK compilation.. pretty good collection too:
An early Decca comp.. came out when he'd jumped ship to Polydor..
The influential "Turning Point" album..
Two of the Decca "World of" series tapes
I've got two different copies of this next one.. the first is the proper double album, with the Studio on one side and Live on the other:
And next an Italian language , German manufactured, casssette of the same album with only the live show (side 2) included, and no explanation...
Phew! That took quite a lot of scanning .. more to come...
A couple of re-named reissues of the "turning point" album.. I've seen it reissued under so many different names and labels that I wonder if he was unable to retain copyright for that show..
Polydor has also been quite guilty of over re-issuing it too.. strange that they'd have dumped him in the mid 70's because his "albums didn't sell", and then after have done endless re-treads of them..
Here's a Dutch compilation.. same track list as the spanish "Historia De La Musica Rock"
